Use the official page
The available sources identify the current official Early Access page as the canonical download destination. It records a 1.3 GB Windows ZIP, Windows 10/11 64-bit support, and version 1.13.1 in the source snapshot.
The old demo has a separate page and is explicitly obsolete and unsupported. Do not assume a download result is current just because it uses the Gamma Emerald name.
Check the computer requirements
The official listing recommends 16 GB RAM and gives 8 GB as the minimum, with a GTX 1060 or RX 580 or better and 5 GB of storage. Low-end systems may load routes or towns slowly, and low RAM or storage can cause battle hitching.
These are the published requirements, not a guarantee for every machine. Community Steam Deck videos show installation interest, but they do not replace the Windows requirements on the official listing.
Install the Windows ZIP
Download the ZIP from the official page, extract it to a folder you control, and launch the included Windows executable. The first launch may take several minutes while shaders compile, so wait before concluding that the game failed.

Protect saves and report problems
Save often during play. Before updating or replacing an installation, keep a backup of the save; the available source materials do not confirm a universal save path for every setup.
For a crash report, note the action that caused it and attach the relevant Saved/Logs/ file through the official Discord. This is more useful than downloading a second unverified build.
